Never said Juan wasn't a rival. Juan was solely put on Earth to be Pacs Kryptonite.

So he's his biggest rival, like Frazier to Ali.

Prior to the ko jmm was manny's great rival and the fights were an epic trilogy.

After the ko-jmm is just some regular guy manny fought a few times just to make him famous.

No because Manny got two gift decisions and a draw to bail him out of a loss. Manny Pacquiao is a Great name On JMM's resume.

This PAC-JMM discussion will go on for generations. lol.

But their fights with Bradley just shows that indeed styles make fights. PAC dominates Bradley for the most part (besides the 1st 5-6 rounds of fight 2). While JMM looks a half step slow in a clear defeat to Bradley.

I still don't think JMM gets past De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, Rios, Bradley without suffering a couple of defeats. In fact, he already lost to Bradley so, there you go.

I also don't think JMM is even that great at 140. Excluding Pacquiao, JMM's best win at 140 or above is...mmmm Alvarado?

If he had faced Provodnikov, Khan, Rios, or Guerrero (if they had fought at 140),... it would have legitimized his reign as a junior welterweight. But no, he has nothing at 140. Only Ramos, Fedchenko, and an Alvarado coming off a technical KO defeat.
