not really. i'd rank pac's wins against barrera, cotto, bradley, hatton, oscar de la hoya, and sasakul to all be better.

and pac was past prime and marquez was most likely roiding like crazy in their 4th fight.

Yes it's a great name. But I guess what mostly adds to the Marquez-Pacquiao saga is the fact that they've fought so many times.

Nevertheless, as some others have said, it's not the best name on his record, but a great name nevertheless.

Barrera, Morales, DLH and Cotto are better wins because JMM is overrated.

So you discredit Juans win over Manny because Manny was past prime yet list Oscar and Barrera as a good win for Manny??? and why bring up Steriods??? Juan offered to do random drug testing and was denied by Manny

Well, PAC was a clear underdog in both the ODLH and Barrera-PAC 1 match. And Barrera was still pretty much prime in 2003. This was PAC's FIRST FIGHT at featherweight. And ...I think it was the only knockout (whether technical or not) of Barrera's career. Most people believe this was PAC's best win.

Everyone knows Manny has lost a bit of speed and stamina. Although he's still world class. And for someone like JMM who already had PAC's timing down... it made hitting him cleaner easier.

Heredia is a steroid scientist who claims to make undetectable peds.

And Barrera wasn't past prime. He was ranked #1 best featherweight and lineal champ, was coming off great wins against hamed and Morales (and looked great doing so), was ranked #2 or #3 best p4p, pac was a huge underdog and moving up to featherweight for the first or second time. So that win completely eclipses his wins against marquez.

Oscar de la hoya is an ATG certified legend and superstar, and pac was moving up from lightweight (only had one fight at that weight), and he was seen as a huge underdog. So that win is far more significant because he beat a superstar and in return became a superstar. Pac never reached superstar status by fighting Marquez.

If jmm had lost to pac 4 times instead of the draw, the ko and the robbery, they'd have JMM ranked properly.
