I don't know about Buster Douglas but Marquez isn't all that great what people make him out to be. He does take more risks than a lot of the divas in the sport though.

LOL JMM put him at the "tail end" of his career, there was no signs beforehand that casa was "badly faded" of course after being KO'd for the 1st time casa was never the same whether you like it or not, Buboy Fernandez

Buboy? Weak, but that's to be expected from you.

I don't see how you can say Joel wasn't on the decline, he beats Corrales wins the title defends against Cruz and Katsidis and now Joel is a monster. Sure he took Katsidis' 0, but was dropped

Now Joel is a monster and considered a great win. Hell he must be a great win for Ghost too right

Bingo. Is Marquez good? Yes. But he's not what these guys are making him out to be. Like JDFS said take away Juan's win over Manny and what do you have?

                Not such a spectacular resume.

actually, he did show major fade...he lost to Sta Cruz and was dropped by a C-level fighter in Katsidis...the guy was pushing 40 when JMM beat him...it's a reach to try to put that as one of his 'big' wins

that's like bragging about Danny Garcia's wins over Erik Morales

FFS I saw that Santa Cruz Casamayor fight only one time but Joel didn't win more than 3 rounds.

Sure, flip the tables and if Casa was still fighting you d1ckriders would be calling it a all time great win. I never said that but to try and deny it was good win is ******. AGAIN, Casa was the champ with the Ring magazine belt, Maybe he should have retired then and not be the "man" at light weight? Then JMM would get no credit. I love how you talk about JMM and steroids but we all know pac has his su****ions too.......

JMM was around the same age doe? And he came up in weight? And Casa was talking mad ****. You guys are acting like Casamayor was Martinez with no knees in there. Sure he wasn't in his prime but neither was JMM they were both in their mid 30's so I don't get how it isn't a good win? He came up in weight after a pac fight and KO'd the main man at 135?
