The fight will be boring if Maidana isn't allowed to blatantly break the rules? You think a fighter being allowed to get away with throwing intentional rabbit punches and low blows is what makes the sport entertaining? I beg to differ. maidana is not complaining about this. i really doubt he cares one bit if floyd or other fighters fought dirty. he isn't going out of his way to cry and complain, he was simply asked for a response. and btw, it was floyd himself who started all this talk about being dirty. so is he a hypocrite - of course!

He only told half the story though. Yes he uses the forearm/elbow to create space, but he also uses the free hand to land a body or head shot. Thats as bad as holding and hitting in my book, but its a veteran tactic I know.
