All I have to say is I was impressed by Calzaghe. I was expecting Lacy to KO him in a few rounds. I thought Joe would get tired or too ****y later on.

I was impressed with Joe because he came in acting like the veteran that he was. He had the experience, and that word, reigning champion kept coming up in my mind throughout. As each round Joe made Lacy look like an amateur, you couldn't help but realize that Joe was too experienced and just outclassed a too young Lacy. By the end of the fight, you knew Lacy was beaten badly because he had blood all over from his eyes and nose while Joe looked like he hadn't been in a fight. I was very impressed and happy to see a confident man that knew what he was capable of, able to stop the power punching and prove that the boxer usually beats the puncher, yet again...

              The answer is both.

But Lacy took the loss well and he had a positive classy outlook on his own future and he was willing to admit that Cal was just better.

I wonder if the outcome would have been much different had the fight been in the states with more Lacy fans.

i wasnt that impressied with joes skill
was never that impressed with lacys either
but what can be said without a shadow of a doubt
joe is way WAY better then jeff

me n my dad were krackin up while watchin it
it was like watchin two amatuers
sloppy ass slap punches and attempts at showing superb speed and grace
mixed in with some really good punches
id say i saw about 2 professional type punches per round
the rest was slapping and pushin of punches
                and floppin around the ring
                from both guys
                but bottom line
                JOE > Lacy
                168 king = joe

to be honest i think this fight had nothing to di with lacy been a bad fighter,if joe wasnt using hes speed and "slapping hard" jeff wud of ended the fight pretty early on,even tho no1 as done it yet i cant see how any1 can discredit joe for making lacy look like a over hyped bum
