  • Comments Thread For: Brook Becomes Hot Topic For Pacquiao, Khan, 147

Collins stated that a Pacquiao-Brook fight “would be huge,” reacting to this writer’s remarks that “we’ve always wanted Pacquiao to fight in Britain against Ricky Hatton in the past and more recently Amir Khan because it will be a draw in attendance and on pay per view.”

“I recall how the Brits mobbed Manny wherever he went when he was on tour prior to fighting Ricky (Hatton),” Collins said.

I'm down with the winner off Brook - Khan fighting Pacquiao. Make it at Wembley. That would be bananas.

A big fight in the UK is inevitable at this point. It also goes along with Arum's international marketing plan.

What are UK's taxes like for boxers?... Also can someone clarify who Brook is signed with? Golden Boy? Al Haymon?

          None of them.

Kell is an Eddie Hearn/Matchroom fighter, he can fight Top Rank fighters, Golden Boy fighters, Haymon fighters.....all of them.

nice...thanks for the info. He's in a very good position for a sweet payday then.

I think Khan might make the most sense for him $$$ wise. Beat Khan, and he's guaranteed another nice payday from either Floyd or PAC.

He can go directly to a Floyd/Pac fight. But losing might ruin the hype of a big UK fight between Brook and Khan. But I think he's confident he can beat Khan anyways. So why not capitalize on maximizing potential earnings and go with Khan first?

Khan is the major fight, that's a 50,000+ stadium event over here and Brook is more than confident of winning it via KO.

Hopefully he isn't stuck with the awful mandatory that the IBF have lined up, instead I'd like to see him fight Marquez before taking on Khan. I like Kell in both fights.

Khan vs Brook makes sense. Pacquiao vs Brook makes 0 sense for Brook right now, hell vet brutalized by Pac. So let the kid earn his money get a couple of fights, fight Khan and if he beats Khan then get on with Pac.
