He already said Broner isn't getting a rematch. This is the 2nd time I've heard Maidana say this and I believe him. At first I thought it was just gamesmanship but Chino's a pretty straight forward guy and I believe he honestly made this statement without any bias...uuunless he's already promoting Maidana-Broner 2..

Mind Games!!!
I am a former boxer and knows that a fighter like Maidana needs to try to get in Mayweather's head so Mayweather will get out of his game and try to prove that he hits harder than Broner; which he does. It's called mind games or strategy. Sometimes it works; most times it don't.why do people disagree with maidana? if anyone would know its him not us... jmm was asked the same about pac and mayweather and didnt even think about it for two seconds he immediately said pac...i have never looked at mayweather as this hard pincher but precise puncher with like maidana said respectable power....im believing him since he was in the ring with both and its not just about the ones landing flush u feel the power from wherever thay land
Also, it shouldn't be a surprise if it was true because Maidana outweighed Floyd over 15 pounds and didn't outweigh Broner that much; in addition Mayweather is a thinking fighter; which is why he is undefeated and is hugely successful as a businessman.
Mayweather is too smart to let things like words get to him and it will be a much easier fight. The first fight Floyd fought on the ropes so it would be more of a competitive fight, this time around Floyd will outbox Maidana and if he sees a opportunity to hurt him he will captilize!!!Last edited by WalkerSmith1921; 08-20-2014, 01:25 AM.Comment

Maidana, unlike Floydie, is always honest. You can't dislike a fighter like that, if you're a true boxing fan. Floydie is full of b.s., smoke and mirrors. And yet some chumps still fall right in line to hail him king.Comment

It's hard to take you serious when your Avi is of Floyd on the ropes against a fighter he beat 8-3 or 8-4 at best. So unnecessarily misleading as we all saw the fight buddy lol.
Dream on and keep remembering history like the delusional stan you are.

These dudes are idiots. Cotto and Hatton was at the Gatti fight next in line to fight Mayweather and after the fight neither wanted it. Arum said Cotto wasn't ready for Mayweather and Hatton at 140. Margarito stepped to Mayweather when he was chasing De La Hoya and asked to fight Mayweather. Floyd told him keep winning and it will be greater later and right after Margarito lost to Paul Williams. Mosely didn't want it with Floyd either when he was a high risk low reward fighter. These dudes stay lying and crying.Yes. Cotto ducked Mayweather. It's quite well documented that his father said that he was not ready for Mayweather when he was fighting at 140 and Mayweather was still with Top Rank (aka when the fight was possible to make). The same was the case with Ricky Hatton. His father also said that he was not ready for Mayweather. That's called ducking. And no Hatton in 2005 is no better than Hatton in 2007 when he got his a$$ whooped and ko'd by Mayweather. Give it a rest.Comment

Just so you know, that's not accurate. The Gomez vs Cotto fight was not signed until the end of January 2008, Floyd beat Hatton near the beginning of December 2007.
Cotto didn't want to fight Floyd when Floyd wasn't a "superstar" and he himself was still green and not at his best weight back in his 140 lb days. After the Cotto-Judah fight, however, Cotto did want the fight and naturally Floyd did not.Last edited by HitBattousai; 08-22-2014, 11:50 PM.Comment
