When you start boxing your nose gets desensitized as time moves on. When your jaw gets a "real tap" you will know it and the time involved off seems to take forever. There are severity injuries to the jaw also, you can get Ko'd and other instances your able to fight on. If your caught on the tip of the chin or in a "profile" there are different degrees of injury and recovery times.

Maybe one day Ill meet Bardock at one of the fights and he'll be able to answer the question personally after Im done with him. Ill make sure to bump the thread to remind him. But then again his broke ass probably cant even afford going to the local club fights.

I'd go with jaw. I don't know about the pain at the time it happens but just the whole recovery after a jaw gets broken I'd say would be worse than broken nose. I got king hit and my jaw broken but at the time hardly felt the punch... I thought I had a damaged tooth cause when I moved my tongue my teeth felt different. But it felt different cause my whole jaw was hanging there and when I moved my tongue half my jaw would move too.

I was gonna say something similar too. You might not feel the pain from either one as much due to adrenaline or your head being focused on something else. What you cant ignore from a broken nose tho, is he difficulty breathing.

Hope you're right about the nose thing, my beak has taken a couple of beatings lol. But you're right about the difference in recovery time. Ricky burns came back quicker than expected when Beltran broke his jaw whereas Ali took a longer lay off. But then again there's a massive difference between having your jaw broken by a heavyweight and a lightweight!

The different lay off times come down to how they were hit.... As ray corso said straight on the chin, or profile. Nothing to do with the weight division. I got hit from the side (profile) and 9 times outta 10 when hit like this the jaw breaks in 2 places. So half a jaw hanging there. So there is the operation which takes a few days to get over. Now your mouth is wired shut so you have to consume liquid as food. But the first few weeks your still swollen up bad and in a bit of pain. You can't suck through a straw. Cause you use the muscles around your mouth to use a straw. So now your nutrition is out the door. You can't really exercise either.... You'd be surprised how often you use muscles around your jaw. Also since your mouth is wired shut you can't exactly open your mouth and brush your teeth. I ended up with an infection a week before I was to get my mouth unwired. Then you have another operation to get unwired.
I've broken plenty of bones in the past..arms,wrists, elbows, fingers and in no time after casts come off it's all back to normal. With a jaw it took ages. It was about 3 weeks later I could just fit the tip of my finger in my mouth.

All in all it was fu@ked....

You, on the other hand, backed up your "aresehold tearing" comment, with another "arsehole tearing" comment. The only thing disturbing, is your lack of originality.

                    Disgrace to pwn.
Dont burst his bubble now you will be automatically cuban and like bananas for some reason . He swears he is somebody. 1 hit kill on NSB most infamous cum bucket is nothing to be proud of for me, but she asks for it like his masochistic mother.

Back to the poll the sense im getting is people saying broken jaw hurts more long term, and they both hurt like fk when it happens.
