I still don't know the glove situation though. Any insight?
I'm not sure the gloves will matter this time around, Floyd has promised to go to war with Maidana until one of them hits the canvas.

I really hope Maidana doesn't go in the rematch trying to pace himself and box Mayweather, I think he needs to go in hard every second of every round in order to have success.

While Most of what you say makes sense and May even be true to an extent... Just remember they said age was catching up to him and he couldnt move anymore after the Cotto bout... Then he proceeded to turn around and give us 2 boxing masterpeices vs Guerrero and Canelo. I think he was some what distracted going in to that fight and I think he make much easier work of Maidana the 2nd time around.

Go stalk Floyd's twitter and leave the boxing threads to the boxing fans.

The rematch is scheduled for September 13th at the same venue, the MGM Grand of Las Vegas. Maidana became tired during the fight because he was throwing a lot of wild punches when trying to land something big on Mayweather.

Not to be picky but that wasn't a rematch.

Money is finally starting to get old. He can't move as well anymore and he is just not strong enough as a WW to hold Maidana off. This will be another close fight. Nothing Floyd did in the first fight tells me that he will do better in this one.
Agreed, I feel like didn't move as much just because he couldn't. We'll see though.

Also, I don't care what anyone says, each of these Maidana fights have to take something out of Mayweather in this stage of his career, so he'll be softened him up somewhat for his final opponents.

Some folks here still don't get it that Floyd is a well rounded master boxer who enjoys proving the critics wrong.

Floyd trained for and was comfortable the first time around. He was taken aback by how dirty Maidana had to make it .
