I really hope Maidana doesn't go in the rematch trying to pace himself and box Mayweather, I think he needs to go in hard every second of every round in order to have success.Comment

While Most of what you say makes sense and May even be true to an extent... Just remember they said age was catching up to him and he couldnt move anymore after the Cotto bout... Then he proceeded to turn around and give us 2 boxing masterpeices vs Guerrero and Canelo. I think he was some what distracted going in to that fight and I think he make much easier work of Maidana the 2nd time around.Comment

Marcos Maidana (35-4, 32 KOs) admits he got too anxious in his rematch with WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs) back in May. The rematch is scheduled for September 13th at the same venue, the MGM Grand of Las Vegas. Maidana became tired during the fight because he was throwing a lot of wild punches when trying to land something big on Mayweather.

I scored the fight for Floyd, a close 116-112. I could see 115-113. The thing is I do not expect Floyd to do much better in this fight. Maidana will likely repeat his success. Money is finally starting to get old. He can't move as well anymore and he is just not strong enough as a WW to hold Maidana off. This will be another close fight. Nothing Floyd did in the first fight tells me that he will do better in this one.
Also, I don't care what anyone says, each of these Maidana fights have to take something out of Mayweather in this stage of his career, so he'll be softened him up somewhat for his final opponents.Comment

Floyd trained for and was comfortable the first time around. He was taken aback by how dirty Maidana had to make it .
Good observation.
