    WBC super bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz is very familiar with his upcoming opponent Manuel Roman. Santa Cruz (27-0-1, 15 KOs) will defend his title against Roman (17-2, 6 KOs) on the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Marcos Maidana Showtime Pay-Per-View on September 13th from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

    Roman is Santa Cruz's former sparring partner. The two are good friends, but won't be when they step in the ring.
