Thanks, i've missed our little debates too.

I'm sticking with my opinion too, i've watched all of Tszyu's career, he's one of my favourite fighters and i've never been so impress as i was with his last few fights. Tszyu just come up against a tough style to beat.

      you have points.

The victory over Mitchell was an impressive one no? but on the same token....look at how Floyd completely demolished him. I'm not saying that should be used to discredit KT (because Floyd is the best) but it shows he is not a world class fighter (mitchell). Kostya has never had a world class win outside of Judah....and looking back.....Judah sucks man.

I was bewildered by some notion he was a threat to take over boxing (judah) but realized he was not...and is a mediocre at best fighter.

By the time KT demolished all these perps, he became old and towards the end of his career...making the victory for a hungry fighter even less meaningful.

Calzaghe just completely outclassed and derailed a guy who was deadlocked to take over the SMW division.

He not only proved he's the best in his division, but one of the best fighters in boxing.

Hatton has to beat the best in his division....he has not done that yet.

First of all, it's not in the shortened quote up there, but Mitchell IS a world class fighter, he was just outclassed by 2 of the very best of an era.

I don't think that Lacy was deadlocked to take over anything. He was destined to be exposed like Peter. Matter of fact, I've been practically preaching on here for 6 months that Lacy is a miniature Peter stylistically. Where your wrong is that Calzaghe did in fact demolish Lacy, but what does that mean? Who had Lacy beaten? Lacy was not worldclass. Tszyu obviously is.

To be honest.. From what i saw in the GIF's and from what i heard what Calzaghe did to Lacy.. I think i underestimated him. As for Hatton he fought dirty in his last two fights. As for Calzaghe Vs Lacy i still need to watch. I haven't watched that fight yet. But i seen Calzaghe land some nice clean shots. Not while clinching!!!

Hatton does fight dirty. I don't know if that discounts his wins though. If I've got to go by accomplishments, I'm calling Hatton a better fighter p4p than Calzaghe just based on the quality of opposition. 140 is a far more talent rich division than 168. The lower part of the top 25 at 140 is probably better than the top 5 of 168 (p4p of course).

You cant say Mayweather was the best in his division, Tszyu was the best in the division when Hatton beat him. Now Hatton's the best in the division, Mayweathers just an extremley talented fighter who flirts between divisions prentending to want big fights. Mayweathers made less noise at 140 than Miguel Cotto and hes even made less noise than Carlos Maussa!! The fact he's FAR more talented than these two is overshadowed by his lack effort to prove it.

Also, If Tszyu fights Mayweather at 140/147 i'm backing him to win too. I'd happily bet against you.

Credibility of Calzaghe? No, not at all. I'm just saying it the way I saw it. Anyone who doesn't think that Calzaghe punches sloppy is an idiot, because he does. Tarver does too, but that doesn't make either one of them bad fighters. In fact, they're both very good fighters, some might even say great, but I don't think we can go there for either fighter, and a showdown between the two will not make that so, either, in my opinion.
Judging by this rationale, you could say that Hopkins throws sloppy punches, so he can't be classed as a great fighter....what? If you beat all your rivals, and in the style that Calzaghe did tonight, then you are a truly great fighter. I think Calzaghe could do with beating two more world-class boxer before he is ranked in that category, but your reasoning about sloppy punchers/great fighers is a bit **** considering some supposedly 'great' boxers I can think of....

I've always favoured Joe, when he is on form not many people look better. If Hatton was not English I wouldnt like him nearly as much as I do.
