I ended up with 114-114 (sitting in the last rows of stub hub). The rounds I gave to Porter I did with a lot of hesitancy but I did so because Kell wasn't always keeping with the pace, ineffective as it was. It felt like he was in command of the fight from about the 4th on and he would only lose rounds when he wasn't that active. I dont feel bad about the close card, all i hear from people leaving the venue was "roberry" "joke scores" this and that
I'm just curious as to how anyone had porter ahead
Because they second-guessed that the judges would lean towards the higher work rate and aggression. Trouble is, that only happens if;
a) your aggression is moderately effective, not windmilling like a 3 year old, and
b) your opponent isn't catching you clean several times per round and rocks you several times in the fight.
It was a clearer win for me than Mayweather over Maidana. At least Maidana had some kind of plan.
I had Brook winning comfortably so I see nothing wrong with the 117 score, his accurate was more efficient and clean but I wouldn't argue if some had it close
Ironically, it is similar to the Maidana fight to be honest as far as Porter going to the body and throwing wildly and trying to use inaccurate workrate to fool the judges
