    These mismatches serve multiple purposes. Mainly that they allow Haymon's fighters to fight out their contracts at the least amount of risk, and they make Golden Boy look bad in the process.

    Not to mention Haymon's already set such a high standard for what his fighters expect to be paid, that Showtime can't match the purses they'd all expect for the good fights. Some are going to have to fight crap fights they're overpaid for, but not as overpaid as they would be for good fights. If Garcia is making 700k for Salka, what would he want for a dangerous fight at 147?

    It's main purpose is to keep fighters winning with low risk, casuals like to see knockouts

    It's a slap in the face to hardcore boxing fans
    But imagine if the guy Santa Cruz is fighting gets seriously seriously hurt, all involved will be vilified
