Calzaghe does have some good wins, and surely 18 title defences deserve credit.

What good wins? He hasn't had any career like Zoo did, so there is no way to justify moving Calzaghe to top 5 as was done with Hatton.

Joe's defense DO count for something, just not top 5 p4p status. A win over Lacy certainly isn't as big as Hops win over Tito. Neither Lacy nor Calzaghe were top 10 p4p before this fight.

Joe did GREAT, and should be top 10...not top 5, yet.

P4P is about boxing skills and how well you exhibit it against top competition. Calzaghe has leap-frogged a LOT of fighters with that performance tonight.

That's the underlying issue.

This whole "Hatton or Calzaghe" thing is ridiculous to me. Joe just beat a wrecking ball in his prime....and Hatton beat up on a guy who needed a walking stick and new batteries for his pacemaker.
