Figeroua and Broner have a lil unfinished business. Since he's going to 40, that would be a fun fight.

Hmm I don't think he is moving enough. He is able to overpower and outwork smaller men at 135 but once he hits 140 the playing fields even out a bit better, which could spell out trouble for Panterita. He has a tendency to actually turn his entire head to the right and thus look away from what his opponent is actually throwing… not good. An elite fighter will not only realize this but exploit it and possibly materialize a knockout from it. He is open to a vicious left hand that can take him by surprise.

Anyway perhaps I'm too hard on Omar, seeing as how I have stated my point on him being a weak title holder… but props for his fight last night. He displayed heart and landed a beautiful counter that damn near put Estrada away for good. Not only that but he finished the fight the way a true champion does. Perhaps his hand problems has been his true rival in past fights but it doesn't take away the fact that for a champion, he has yet to face a legitimate contender other than El Tremendo(which is nowhere near the elite at 135,although it is far from being a deep division). Moving up to 140 is a big ? for Omar. Perhaps his body will finally be at a more comfortable weight and bring forth more power since his stamina has always been nothing short of great. However, his hands might fail him more often due to the stress they will endure having to work harder to hurt bigger men. What if the move up in fact lessens his ability to properly shoot powerful punches? Too many questions.. Hope its for the best though.

Panterita can prove me as well as many other doubters wrong.. and I'm hoping he does.

This kid is Brandon Rios with slightly better movement and faster hands. He can tee off like he does at the weight he was at, hope they have plan B for 140, cause he's going to get years taken off his life fighting the way he does amongst power punchers.
