That ring looks like Bob Arum's wet dream.

The pit edge is really dangerous for regular boxers.

I saw an interview where Robert Garcia said that the purses were generous for the fighters. Maybe that will entice more top notch pros to give it a go

... Baybe for the kick off... But in order to establish a new fighting sport it takes many years... Somebody would have to be eager to buy this kind of shows... And the market is slim...

Is this good for boxing? Absolutely not.
This can be terrible for the IBF, WBC, Bob Arum, Oscar de la Hoya...etc.

Is this good for boxing fans? You bet your sweet ass it is.
HOW LONG HAVE WE BEEN LOYAL TO THE SPORT WE LOVE???
              HOW LONG????
How many pockets have we filled with money? How many promoters
and boxers have we made rich over the years?

We the boxing fans MAKE these promoters. WE the boxing fans make these
boxers famous and put food on their table.

HOW OFTEN DO WE GET WHAT WE WANT FROM THEM??? Pacquiao vs Mayweather
should have been happened! Its been almost SEVEN YEARS AND NOTHING!!!
NOT EVEN A DAMON SPARRING MATCH.

How many fighters get unfair shots? How many fighters duck other fighters?
Oscar and Bob get their panties in a bundle and we got to suffer for it? We have been missing out on **** thanks to these two girls.

Thats the thanks we get for our ever lasting loyalty? We have been force fed what they want
for too damn long. I am tired of this abusive marriage.

I say enough is enough. Boxing is the laughing stock of world sports thanks to these
bi.tches. Too much corruption. To many counciles. Too many different organizations.
Too many champions. Too many belts. Too many robberies. Too many fights not made. Too many fights marinating. Too many promoter issues. Too many meaningless belts. Everyone becomes a damn champion. Too much bull ****.

Im not a fan of MMA personally. But if BKB those their **** right. Im jumping
on board and never ever looking back.

They have had it too damn good for too damn long. Enough is enough.

Bkb is still boxing. Its still the sweet science. Just because there aren't ropes?
You think the pioneers of boxing started boxing because they had some spare
              ropes? NO!!!!

THERE IS STILL DEFENSE. THERE IS STILL SKILL. THERE IS STILL COUNTERING.
              STOP BEING IGNORANT.

I'm talking about when fights would go up to 44 rounds before it was over. Anyway I like the idea it's just that when a fighter gets knocked out without the ropes I think they are more prone to the damage that comes after the body comes crashing down. If he falls back there will be no ropes to reduce the momentum which could lead to some serious damage. However without the ropes and the fact that the ring is significantly smaller than that of the squared counterpart, I think this style promotes more fact paced action. Which is good for the fans.

If anyone knows, do these fights count towards a fighters record? Also, seeing as how the BKB have their own belts.. will they recognize or be recognized by 4 main boxing juggernaut organizations?
I hope BKB have their own boxing organization. Really the other 4
can go **** themselves. BKB is a seperate identity thats why
boxrec has nothing to do with them. Loving boxing and loving BKB.

We need to stand up for this as fans. This is still boxing. It can still
be beautiful. We just need to quit taking **** from promoters and
hope BKB can do **** right.
