I think its important because a 2 reall good fights before the main event makes me excited, makes the crowd hotter, and makes my viewing experience more enjoyable.

I don't think undercards help sales, but I do think its good exposure for fighters so it benefits the sport to place not so well known but great fighters on a ppv undercard.

It means a lot to hardcore fans.

Could be the difference between a PPV buy or a illegal stream. Or even waiting for it here on the trading block. That's why Pac's numbers have sort of fell off. Even if your not fighting an amazing opponent a strong undercard will sway indecisive customers.

Who cares about the quality of the card your average Joe is paying, I say **** it… they are getting a MAIN EVENT! So who cares if we must endure through the masterful performances from the likes of Ishe Smith, Carlos Molina, some B+ fighter facing off against some flunky, but wait… that's not all. Guess who will be thrilling us in an all out brawl in the most recent undercard for one of the biggest names in the sport? That's right! you guessed it!(your mother must be so proud, atta boy) El Titere Vasquez! That's right folks! Get yah tickets! A whole 3 - 4 hours of nice, comfy, coma inducing scraps that will tuck you in nice and neat. Just don't forget to set your alarms for the main event!

To me the undercards are important. I have a lot of hardcore boxing friend's. I also have my other friends that come over . I usually don't invite them over if the undercard sucks because I don't want to hear them talk S##t about the crappy fights.

I like it when the card is stacked I feel like I'm getting my money worth. The undercard is supposed to get you ready for the main event, kinda like the previews at the movie theater's before the movie.

If the undercard is going to suck then just charge me for the main event. I didn't buy the Pac vs Bradley 2 & I didn't but the Mayweather vs Maidana for this reason. I don't plan on ordering the rematch between May vs Chino or the Pac vs whatever his name is, both those events suck.

Is it important to have good foreplay before sex? The answer is yes. You don't want to enter the main event in bad spirits.

Before the main event... I usually play poker or some dominoes ... so my attention is usually 50/50... I like to have a beer or 2 and of course some FOOD.

That gets me ready for the main event.

I like to consider the $70 I spend on a PPV,...like a night out at a good restaurant. It's all perception.

I do like quality fights on the undercard. But I'm not too bothered as long as the main event is a good matchup.

Good under cards mean more value for my money. I'd rather watch 4-5 good fights for that that money instead of watching 1 good fight. So yes they are important.

IMO a bad under card is what causes people to watch the fights over illegal streams. Heck fans are even willing to sacrifice on video quality over this.
