Ranked number 7 and better fighter than the three above him (Edwin Rodriquez, Abraham and Stieglitz) yeah sure a step backwards...
DeGale is in the same position Thurman is in, he has fought everyone put infront of him I ain't his biggest fan but he should get a title shot or Carl should vacate that belt.

Well he's in a position to demand a shot at the IBF belt, but didn't Froch JUST fight two mandos in a row? I'm struggling to make sense of them at the moment.

Anyways, I feel if Froch is pushed into a corner with DeGale, he'll drop the belt, and so he should. Froch-DeGale.... I mean, meh.

I need a trip to Vegas man, or give me Kessler or GGG. Watching Degale pitty pat Froch for 12 rounds is just not a right sort at the moment.

The day anybody in boxing is scared of DeGale will be a sad one.

He's a solid fighter, but he means even less for Froch than the first Groves fight...and Froch wasn't exactly excited about that one either.

Bigger, better, more important fights are on the table.

For Froch legacy he should fight fighters that can bring the same amount of followers than he has. These up and coming fighters need to shut the hell up and fight. Your opportunity will come one day. Froch has earn whatever he chooses

"Scared" . Hmmmm. That's a fairly crude way to try and get a fight. Like Froch would drop Chavez Jr for DeGale because his pride was hurt after being labelled "scared". Idiot.

DeGale is a nobody trying to become a somebody. He should be aiming to set the record straight with Groves... that's more his speed.

Froch has a superiority complex when it comes to British fighters.

He thinks he's above all of them, which I suppose he is but it doesn't mean they're bad fights and they actually do most to boost his profile.

Good point, I get that impression about Froch too sometimes, although I guess he's kind of always had that self-belief it's not as if he's ever held back his opinion, even when he was calling out Joe Calzaghe all those years ago. So that's just Froch and I think that confidence has definitely benefited his fight game.

But I said time and again, Froch vs Degale needs to happen. Froch already beat potentially one of Britain's next 168 world class boxers, but there happens to be at least one other 168 world class UK boxer and Degale deserves the fight just as much as Groves did because a lot of people, including myself and Carl Froch, thought Degale beat Groves.
