    The only thing that I back hatton on was that mayweather didn't fight him in 2005 at light welterweight were hatton was obviously better than at 147.

        Hatton was good at 140, the reason he declined so badly was his out of ring lifestyle.

        A boxer must remain a boxer throughout the 365 days in a year, Hatton unfortunately remained a boxer probably 180 days out of the year and spent the rest boozing and eating shit.

        He is also one of the most polite mannered fan friendly fighters I have ever met, which adds to his popularity amongst the average working joe's like myself.

                  He was good at 140 but even then he ducked Witter for years and got absolutely wrecked by Pacquiao. He is overrated, with his only other big win outside of Paulie was beating a washed up Kostya.
