Comments Thread For: Kid Galahad: Kell Brook Will Knock Shawn Porter Out!

Undefeated Commonwealth super bantamweight champion Kid Galahad (17-0, 9KOs) is backing his stablemate, Kell Brook, to pull out a knockout victory on Saturday night, when he challenges Shawn Porter for the IBF welterweight championship at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Galahad accompanied Brook to the United States. He's been helping him, along with head trainer Dominic Ingle, put the finishing touches on his most important training camp to date.

Porter has been more impressive to me against better comp. I honestly don't even know why I know who Kell Brook is. Seems like he just popped up high in The Ring rankings and was the IBF mandatory. This may prove to be his coming out party. But honestly, I think Porter is the biggest threat to the Big IV welterweights and Kell is gonna have his hands full Saturday night.

Kell is just a name to me. I've never seen him fight. I only know his name because Karceno is so high on him. I'm looking forward to finally getting to see this kid in action.

Kell has been high on the Ring rankings for years - quite strangely. He's been ranked in the top 7 for ages.

No way Brook beat Porter and it's impossible by KO,IMO! I predict a stoppage in favor of PORTER if BROOK comes to fight or by UD if BROOK comes to survive, honestly PORTER is too strong phisically.

I hope they are not banking on KO'ing Porter, I read Brook said he can do it in the first round?? Kell brook from what I've seen has a good one 2 (which is basically the fundamentals) but he has to show more explosiveness, from his training he seems to move around methodically , you have to have more than 1 punch to beat Porter, you have to have quick feet to be able to move in and out, haven't seen that aspect of Brook's game yet.

Brook hasnt even faced an undefeated fighter yet in his career.

Way to go paraphrasing Porter there with the one-two comment. Care to offer your own opinion.
