I think John was better than people knew. I heard he's fast, good on the inside and out and that he has good defense. I have'nt seen the fight yet, but I hope to see it soon.

My uncle saw the fight. He is in Indonesia right now. He said that the fight was alot closer than the judges scores but CJ clearly won the fight. I feel bad for JMM. Although I always thought Pac would probably blow him out the ring if they ever rematched, I could also see it going the other way. Right now I think JMM is a completely different fighter after the Pacquiao fight. It looks as though JMM, in his recent fights, is afraid to get hit.

We're not laughing at HOW he lost because we don't know the circumstances. We're laughing THAT he lost after refusing a Pacquiao rematch. I think everyone can now rest assured that JMM was afraid of Pacquiao and never accepted a rematch because he knew he lost the first time and he knew he was dead in a rematch. I'm glad this piece of **** disgrace has lost. He kissed opportunity goodbye out of FEAR and now he can rot for it. Good ****ing riddance.

I would'nt be one to laugh at ones misfortune but I do agree that JMM's as well as Barrera's reluctance to rematch Pacquiao is hard to understand. I do not want to insult any of the fans of these two great fighters but cannot disagree with those that insinuate the reason these two fighters avoiding Pacquiao is because the have some fear of this man. No one questions Morales' balls in wanting to face a fighter of Pacquiao's reputation in a saga that is going to end up in a trilogy. The Money will be there, the fans want to see it. What could it be? If anyone has the answer to that please enlighten those who are ******. Otherwise I succumb to the influence of those that say Barrera and Marquez were simply not brave enough to face a disfiguring fighter like Pacman in the ring a second time around.

this is on point, i feel the same way!

what reason could they have for not wanting to have a rematch with pac when

              a. they can avenge a loss and prove that they are better boxers
              b. get a lot of money
              c. rise to the top with a win

barera may have belts but the pac loss would tarnish his record if they dont rematch IMO

JMM and ****** Beristain wanted even money in a second fight with Pac and were denied, so they didn't take the fight. In retrospective, it was a monumentally ****** decision.

Barrera needed to rebuild his confidence and reputation after the ass whopping he took from Pac, which he has done, quite nicely by the way. In retrospective, it's proving to be the right decision, as the rematch will likely be the most profitable fight ever in the lighter weights.

This is the reason you should never take on undefeated fighter, there is a reason he's undefeated. It almost cost Cotto against Torres.

As for feeling sorry for JMM, I really don't because this is own fault, he either didn't take John seriously or John is real good. I really don't know much about John.

JMM is a good boxer, but for him to turn down $750,000 to fight Pac is an idiotic move for his career. Lets say if he would've won the rematch against Pac, he would've been making millions now, instead of $30,000 against John. I personally believe that he didn't want any part of Pac again, plain & simple JMM was avoiding Pac.
