What risk is a guy taking to fight Rod Salka?

This is exactly the point. Guys will start to not take risks anymore because they could get paid so much money to fight such bad opponents.

    What don't you understand?

Exactly. Now why on earth would he take absolutely anything less then that to fight anybody better then Rodriguez?

Why would contenders continue to fight each other when they can make the same amount of money to fight guys in tune up/stay busy fights?

I'm trying to apply your theory to all fighters. when I do that look at your response?

Is Kov only going to fight Caparello level fighters from now on? Is GGG going to keep fighting overmatched MW like Gaele? you wouldn't say yes to either so come on.

Danny got paid for a mismatch, same as kov. You are trying to make one terrible and meaningful and the other nothing. Can't be done.

does this apply, for example, to Manny v algieiri? I think you would say no. $20 mil is far more than 700k. so whats the difference?

Alright, i don't know what else to tell you.

Getting overpaid to fight bad opponents could start a trend of fighters not even fighting good opponents anymore because they can get the same amount and more to fight bad opponents. This will ruin the integrity of the sport and slowly the sport will die....

Dude.... Kovalev is unifying titles next....

He didn't get paid so 700k to fight Caparello, neither did GGG for Adama... they're the exact opposite of what I'm saying!

I don't know whether or not 20 million is overpaying for Pac or not. But what I do know that you're going to sit here and compare Salka and Chris Algieri? Have you lost your damn mind?

Chris Algieri is a champion. Pac-Algieri is a unification fight

Yeah, 25k was a straight robbery. He probably only left with like 15k or something
