Really? PEDerson has always been a junior welterweight, he seems pretty comfortable there.

Unifying the belts is the biggest draw of this fight. If Garcia's fighting at welterweight, there are better fights out there.

The last PPV didn't do as well as I thought it would, so who knows how that'll affect his decision.
I don't see GGG v Cotto in Dec. More like Cotto v Lee. Either fight should bes a regular HBO fight even with cotto being a big star.

Junior welterweight champ Lamont Peterson says he struggled to make weight for his Showtime fight last week in Brooklyn.

I think it would help Pete's punch resistance if he put more weight on, and Garcia hasn't been looking that well in his recent weigh-ins. This will be like Maidana/Alexander, two LWWs who are outgrowing the division but they've yet to fight. This could be their WW debut, then move on from there. I'd rather see this than Garcia/Paulie. I would like to see Garcia/Thurman, but do you really think that's gonna happen?

in many respect this could be Swift's most difficult fight to date assuming Lamont doesn't come in shook already like he did when facing Lucas.

hell of a fight hope its at legit 140lbs to have unification bout... cant recall last one..
