Don't know why garcia is taking this risk, there's lil reward in it. If you win, you unify titles, but you're already considered top dog at 140. Besides, even if he wins this fight, he's going to have to prove himself at 147 before landing Floyd or any other top welter. If you lose to Peterson, you lose it all. Technically, the IBF title is his already. Matthysse whooped peterson, then garcia beat matthysse. Why not just move up, fight a top contender, maybe Even for a titles, and hope to get Floyd.
