In three years, after Garcia has fought Zab three times, three bums at a catchweight, he might fight Broner at a catchweight.

I actually like this fight, Broner will be far better at 140. But lets be real, no fighter can target Garcia, because he doesn't take tough fights until he is forced to, and GB is in no hurry.

There are a lot of unanswered questions about Broner. Like the other guy said, it depends on which Broner we get. Let's hope we don't get the Broner that lost to Taylor.

        no way! no how!

        2 reasons...

        1. He's gonna wanna get paid more than Danny, even though I think Danny has accomplished more.. by simply beating better opposition..

        2. There's no way Haymon lets two of his most prized fighters.. fight each other.. Unless he feeds them to his cash cow..

note: don't bring up Mathysse fighting danny and being with haymon.. cause I'm sure haymon didn't want it.. they were forced into that one..

And I don't think Postol is the WBA regular champ. I am pretty sure its Vargas... Khabib Allakhverdiev was the regular champ and when Vargas "beat" him he won the belt.

I could be wrong but I am almost certain that Vargas is the WBA regular champ and Postol doesn't have anything
You're right. Khabib was the reg champ and Vargas beat him. And Pistol is currently mandatory.

I got the pieces mixed up

He definitely DID NOT seem like he wanted any part of it. Seems to me the plan is wait until Garcia/Peterson fight and Danny moves up, then swoop in and take a less challenging fight for a vacant/paper title. Quite pathetic. Besides fighting Maidana he has not taken any real dangerous fights, he just talks about it.

Whoever gets green lighted to fight Thurman or perhaps Porter, loses. That's why none of them mention fighting those guys. Plain and simple.

Broner and Angel Garcia would be verbal sparring like crazy.

A match-up between two of the most hated boxers on NSB. It would make for a lot of fun discussions. Too bad Broner is just talking out of his ass. Many of these dudes seem too damn friendly with each other to actually get in the ring and fight.

You know a loss isn't a death sentence, right? Two good up and coming fighters can fight each other and still go on to have good careers. They might be cordial but at the end of the day it's not a team sport, it's an individual sport and a man needs to do what's best for him. Fighting the best not only shows your worth but it improves the fighter. The best should be fighting the best.
