  • Comments Thread For: Hatton Targets Browne vs. Chagaev, Chisora, Fury

RICKY HATTON has stated that Kiwi hopeful Joseph Parker isn't even on Hatton Promotions' radar for Lucas "Big Daddy" Browne.

Parker defeated little known American Keith Thompson this weekend and has mentioned a showdown with Browne on numerous occasions.

But as Browne, who holds the Commonwealth, WBC EPBC and WBA Inter-continental crowns, is ranked highly by the three main world governing bodies and seemingly on the verge of a world title shot, the match-up is highly unlikely at present.

Browne vs. Chagaev would be good.

Fury, Chisora and Haye are unreliable and likely to pull out just before the fight and so waste Browne's time.

Oh c'mon, Chisora gets 1 injury and you are going to call him unreliable? What a tool.

Fury also has only pulled out of 1 contest, so that's harsh.

Nobody mentioned Haye, but since you were busy talking bollox I guess you had to slip it in.

Hatton knows better, Parker will beat the brakes off Browne - browne is too slow and gets hit too clean - Browne would have a shot against Fury, not chisora or Chagaev - styles make fights and Fury's style is very fan friendly - he likes to engage

Lucas Browne is a cool guy and a tough bruiser in the ring but he's now at the career stage where he has to step up. That means he's at the stage where he's about to get exposed. Tough and heavy handed, yes, but his pop won't faze the top men and, on the catching end, Lucas is wide open and way too slow.

Chagaev is the one that makes most sense then Browne will likely fight Fury/Chiss winner in 2015.

I just wonder what will happen with Stiverme I really do hope he continues to not give that gigantic fool Deontay a chance at the belt it will make most of the boxing community happy to see a fraudulent match up avoided.
