No way, the media and the fans want a rematch with Matthysse. Garcia fought a great fight in the first meeting but he has benefited from some lucky circumstances

This is a very winnable fight for Peterson given his great infighting skills because as was evidenced in the Ashley Theophane bout, Garcia has no inside game whatsoever. Moreover, Lamont cannot fight like he did against Matthyssee by backing up because he runs the risk of getting stopped with Danny Swift getting the full extension on his punches.

However, If Lamont can somehow manage to keep this fight at close quarters and beat Danny to the punch to the body by backing him up, then I like his chances. He has a very good chance of pulling off the upset. However he is going to have to fight a very busy pace while keeping his guards up at all times to block any potential counters coming back from Garcia.

This is going to be a great fight! Both guys go so hard to the body, and have good boxing skills too. If Garcia doesn't fight Peterson, then I want to see him fight Broner @ 140.

I agree, that fight would be entertaining both inside and outside the ring. I think Danny goes for the belt with Lamont tho

No, I disagree. Danny Swift is huge even for a welterweight and Broner is just too small and not as strong as him above the 130 and 135 lbs divisions. It's a total mismatch waiting to happen.

Adrien Broner just needs to go back down in weight to at least a 135 lbs and stay there until he allows his small body frame to naturally mature and grow until he can no longer make the weight and then make the natural progrssion into the higher weight classes like his big brother/mentor Floyd Mayweather, Jr did.

His lack of size, conditioning, commitment and dedication to the fight game really hurts him above the lightweight divisions. His punches just doesn't carry the same amount of snap or pop on them as they previously did at the lower weight classes due to his lack of physical ability against naturally larger and stronger opponents.

Garcia says he wants Mayweather but he needs to face Peterson. It's the fight that makes sense and it's doable.

Nobody wants this ****. Plant either fighter @ 147 and they get sent straight back down to 140 within 2 fights.
