A 3 belt unification bout between a legend- and the undefeated soon-to-be-legend-killer- Future HOF and GOAT at LHW...... Is absolutely fantastic and there's not much better then that on paper IMO

It absolutely is, it will be the most anticipated fight of the year amongst boxing fans, second only to another GBP fight in Alvarez v Lara.

Why? because they're 50/50 fights between guys at the top of their respective divisions.

Bad things -
Who knows who is even signed to GBP?
GBP cards are doing horrible numbers for SHO
Canelo PPV #'s aren't good

Good things -
Oscar cleaned house and got rid of all the snakes and ****
Oscar is sueing Schaefer for 50 mill and that could be used to sign more fighters
HBO is open to doing business with GBP's again

And the best fight on paper this year is still Pacquiao vs Bradley 2. Kovalev vs BHop is probably 2nd

Schaefer leaving was a big blow because promoting Haymons A fighters put food on the table. Hopkins-Kova***** is going to be co promoted which means less money. Other than Canelo GBP don't have many A listers. And it's A listers that bring in the revenue to support the day to day. They need Floyd's fight to be a huge hit. GBP should survive either way but Oscar might have to put more of his own money into it but their not dead.
