I mean, it's a reason certainly, but Danny was hated long before then. That's why people got so ******edly invested in that fight because they were so desperate for Danny to lose.

That is pretty much how I've always seen it. A lot of people like Lucas' fight anyone attitude, which always makes for good champions and is total contrast to Danny, who was always going to be a "hollywood boxer".

I don't blame Him, if you have trinket then milk the **** out of it and make a nest egg, but you also need to show class, which has never appeared to be a big word in the Garcia household.

The thing is yes some people don't like his dad especially in the beginning but by the time he fought Khan they were all behind him, after beating Khan they were all loved up but then they didn't want him to beat Matthyse why? The excuse about his dad is now just an underline excuse, he is basically hated for destroying the Lucas hype.
