Chances are, Taylor can go the distance and get a decision maybe with a little help from the judged. Jermain Taylor is new IBF champ. Who else is an Al Haymon fighter that only fights on Showtime? Peter Quillin. The WBO title holder. This is all a big plan to set up Taylor vs Quillin so that Quillin can be a unified champ (two belt titler holder) in the division without having to fight anyone good! Phuck!!!
He tried fack BHop for his belt. Al plan is very obvious.

It's a winnable fight for Jermain Taylor.

Says it all about boxing these days that this is even a possibility. A unified champion that doesn't have to fight anyone worth a damn in their division.

I seriously hate the sanctioning organizations. Taylor should not be getting a title shot.

The IBF are probably the best to be fair, Soliman just won the title so he's entitled to a voluntary. It's just a shame he chose Taylor (15th in IBF rankings).

Murray would've been perfect, a winnable fight which would give Soliman credibility for unification. Instead he's gone for the "build name in America" route and will probably get robbed (or legit lose) in the process.

If JT is going to fight, this is the best fight for him. I have to admit that I'd be pretty excited to see him win a strap of any kind at this stage.

GGG could hold back on Taylor and still KO him. That's not a good match-up to make. GGG vs. Taylor & Mora on the same night would be ok though.
