Same old story. He's fighting because that's all he knows how to do.

If he bests Soliman I wouldn't even want GGG to unify with Taylor. Seriously. Taylor has suffered real damage and shouldn't be fighting.

I'm sad to learn Candelo is still fighting too. His fight with Winky gets underrated, it was a really good scrap.

honestly if Taylor is licensed to fight GGG that'll be my last day watching this sport. I don't think GGG would even take that fight out of sheer principle.
But Soliman isn't a big puncher, 44-11 with 18 knockouts, the fight is likely going the distance, it's no more of a threat to his health than the Caleb Truax fight was. But still, no reason why this man should be allowed to fight anymore.

I've been a big fan of Taylor since his early days. Having said that, I'm not at ease with him fighting. I'd be happy for him if he becomes champ again, but I don't even want to think of him unifying against GGG, even Quillin at this point. I know he'd take the fight with GGG too.

Thats right Taylor is with Al Haymon. No chance at GGG vs Taylor then (thank god)..

Man, this is sick. It all makes sense now. Soliman is the IBF MW champion. He only has 18 KO's in 56 fights. Chances are, Taylor can go the distance and get a decision maybe with a little help from the judged. Jermain Taylor is new IBF champ. Who else is an Al Haymon fighter that only fights on Showtime? Peter Quillin. The WBO title holder. This is all a big plan to set up Taylor vs Quillin so that Quillin can be a unified champ (two belt titler holder) in the division without having to fight anyone good! Phuck!!!

At least Taylor has paid his dues.
Yeah but this is the IBF belt, not the WBA.

                    #1 & #2 Not rated
                    #3 Murray
                    #4 Sturm
                    #5 Lemieux

Murray deserves a shot over Taylor but Soliman turned the Murray fight down.
