I've known of him since early last year when he fought Prescott and have watched some earlier fights of him since then. I don't think anyone really thinks of him as a huge puncher.

I'm not neglecting that at all. I am saying that I think, assuming they both land(duh), Gamboa's chances of knocking out Garcia are not as good as Garcia's of knocking out Gamboa. Could I be wrong? Absolutely.

Chances are that Gamboa will land first and often on mikeys, I like Gamboa if the fight is at 126-130, it took 9 rounds and the ref to stop the fight from a 150+ world class fighter, and Gamboa hurt him pretty bad in that 9 round, 135 I'll have to see mikey against a good opponent first...

All very true, and I could see that happening.

For example: I'm not sure I could see Mikey handling the first four rounds that Crawford did.
He's shown that his chin isn't very solid, but so far when he has been hurt he's recovered quickly. Gamboa won't really give him a chance to recover, but that could lead to his downfall.

It sounds like a great fight. Hopefully Mikey will get up and stop wasting time!
