If there is some PEDs out there that allow you to compete on this level at age 49 apparently it's a huge secret and only Bhop knows about this magical drug or else we'd see a whole lot of other 46,47,48,49 year old champs. But we don't. So weird huh? Someone needs to give this drug to Mike Tyson. Tyson vs Klitschko 2016 make it happen.

Lets also consider the opposition, Hopkins isn't really fighting anyone and Kovalev is a serious step up in competition from Cloud, Murat and Shumenov.

I think most of you guys are fooled because of his opposition.
He beat Pascal not too long ago too.

Kovalev is a step up on Hopkins recent opposition, but Hopkins is an even bigger step up for Kovalev.

These PED accusations are said about everyone and unless there is proof it's a tired argument. And even if he did use PED's...he is almost 50 and it wouldn't make any other 50 year old fight like him. He has balls for taking on Kovalev and deserves respect for it.

When you realize that he lost to Jermain Taylor twice, you have to wonder if the light heavyweight division was relatively weak.

I just don't see how using your brain and logic you can't worry for B-Hop's health in this one. However at the same time I don't see how any fan could ever count B-Hop out, but that's what makes this fight so fascinating so props to both men.

Dunno - what's the question being asked? PED free? Meh - unless there's actually any evidence I consider him as PED free as any other pro athlete.

Is he a legitimate top end pro-fighter? Well - in terms of career resume I've got him as possibly the greatest active fighter.

Recent resume - relatively weak however. He's not actually beaten a top grade fighter since Pascal, which musta been 3 years ago or more (and TBH Pascal ain't all that in my book).

Bhops doesn't need to fight anymore - for either legitimacy or money and appears to be looking at the LHW unification for his own personal reasons for which he deserves great respect in my book, but he's also not faced anyone with Kovalevs destructive reputation in a long, long time.

Picking against Hopkins has always been a bad idea, but this time I tthink he loses. In fact I think, more likely than not, he gets stopped.

The guy who Stevenson doesn't want to fight. The guy killed a man in the ring. I know be B-hop has taken little to no damage in his career. But still...I don't even know too many 40 year olds that can move like that, legit. And if you look at the way B-hop moves, not even inside the ting but out too. I noticed a few movements from him that look suspect.

Just the way he moves around and ****..like how do you have that much energy when you are 50? Idn...just seems kinda suspect to me. I'm sure he's not a clean fighter, I mean. I don't have any proof, but in my mind I'm sure he's not a clean fighter. He's not beating Kovalev either. And after the fight he's gonna have to 'pay that money' if he wants to keep his charade going. Just like Floyd.
Watch what Hopkins does after answering the question: "What has allowed you to maintain your longevity in the sport?"

The only question in my mind about B-hop is how now he fights hard , throwing many punches every round but when he fought Jermain Taylor at just 40 years old he was only able to fight hard for about the last four rounds. All of a sudden now he is a few days from 50 and he's fighting toe to toe and moving like Ali against young strong Light Heavy weights, Does make u wonder!!! Where was this Alien at back then when he fought J. Taylor, Roy jones 2 and even Joe Calzahge, in those fights he resembled an old great fighter. Now he is moving constantly, standing and trading, throwing many combinations and never seems to get tired, hell now he is even scoring knock downs. I don't know but it really does seem funny to me. Remember when John Pascal called him a cheater and told him to TAKE de TesT!!!!! Never seen someone act so offended but could have easily taken a blood test just to shut him up and prove that he truly is a special one of a kind athlete, An Alien!!!

I personally think Hopkins purposely fought in a slug fest against Murat for entertainment purposes, plus he knew Murat couldn't hurt him.

If he fights that same way against Kovalev, he's a fool, so I doubt he takes that same approach against Sergey.
