Lets be honest here, Is B-hop legit...???

As good as he always was I just don't understand how a 50 YEAR OLD can compete against 'the' Krusher. You know, the guy who is dispatching everybody. The guy who Stevenson doesn't want to fight. The guy killed a man in the ring. I know be B-hop has taken little to no damage in his career. But still...I don't even know too many 40 year olds that can move like that, legit. And if you look at the way B-hop moves, not even inside the ting but out too. I noticed a few movements from him that look suspect.

Just the way he moves around and ****..like how do you have that much energy when you are 50? Idn...just seems kinda suspect to me. I'm sure he's not a clean fighter, I mean. I don't have any proof, but in my mind I'm sure he's not a clean fighter. He's not beating Kovalev either. And after the fight he's gonna have to 'pay that money' if he wants to keep his charade going. Just like Floyd.

The way he moves around all slow, trying not to exert too much energy, is that what you mean? Hopkins isn't beating Kovalev, I doubt it'll even be that competitive.

Yes but it is unnatural for someone who's 50 even at the speed he moves. He has to be on supplements.

I truly believe he's clean. This guy is 100% discipline. Strict diet, training, never going up too much in weight between fights. He talked about he cheats after a fight and eats some cheesecake. Hell I do that every week and I still consider myself being in good shape.

He has not taken a lot of punishment and is a smart boxer. He really uses his energy in spurts with low volume with very slow starts in fights. He just throws them at the right time and makes them counts. He's a master of distributing his energy right over 12 rounds and being tactical.

          Or he's simply an alien.

It's impressive for his age but I don't see much speed, his reflexes aren't the same either the way Murat was able to land repeatedly, and this time he won't be able to conserve his energy the way Kovalev will pressure him.

Lets also consider the opposition, Hopkins isn't really fighting anyone and Kovalev is a serious step up in competition from Cloud, Murat and Shumenov.

I think most of you guys are fooled because of his opposition.

You make a good case. But that's exactly what somebody as 'smart' as Bernard Hopkins would want you to think. But he's not smarter than me...he's 50 and he thinks he will beat Kovalev. That to me is the smoking gun...I just call bull**** that's all...

Because some people including meg think that Kovalev isn't as good as he hyped up by a lots of people and HBO. His level of competition is not that good. I don't say that he only beat tomato cans but a guy whose 2 best wins are Campillo and Cleverly is hardly considered as a proved A level fighter. I see a lot of flaws in Kovalev's game and while he is definitely more skillfull than the Rios, Provodnikov or Rosado like of brawlers, his skills are way overrated by his fans who want to believe that he isn't just a next power puncher guy in the row who will exposed sooner or later. I think he isn't exemption and in my opinion the question is more likely: Is Kovalev legit? He hits like a mule but what remains when someone take away that power? Basic skills, relaitvely slow hanspeed, weak defense... And B-Hop is a master of taking away someones punching power so I think Kovalev will find himself in a real big trouble, becuse maybe that is the only partof the game where he is better than Hop or maybe the workrate as well but if Hopkins will take away his power (as I think) Kovalev will stand there without answers to Hopkins suprerior skills, defense, accuracy and handspeed.
B-Hop has way more experienced and his resume is miles over Kovalev's so I don't think that even now when he is 50, his legitness is a question.
So that's my opinion I pick a wide Hopkins UD 117-111 most likely. We will see.

And what about this "Killed a man in the ring" talk? Plenty of boxers killed other boxers in the ring and not all of them was a big power puncher.
