Froch is going to fight Chavez Jr I think so that is not realistic in the fall. Ward can't fight right now so that is irrelevant and I would like to see Murray as well but he had a chacne to fight him before, I don't see much changing now, espcially since he is fighting in October. GGG isn't waiting around for Murray, they want a fight this year

Kessler would be GGG's best opponent to date. Which, given Mikkel's current battle-worn status, doesn't say much about Triple G's resume so far.

I'd prefer it at 168 though. Kess shouldn't be going lower than that, and i didn't think he'd be desperate enough for the fight to take it below SMW.

None of the so-called top boys want GGG at 160, GGG needs to explore SMW. Much more money to earn and Kessler would be a great introduction.

Yes, what's the problem?

Kessler was a great fighter who has been inactive and it would be a great name on his resume but it's not the same Kessler who fought Calazaghe or Ward.

I don't consider Kessler "resume-filler", he would be the best name on Golovkin's record (possibly am or pro) and a good name on anyone's. Even with the inactivity.

Andre Ward is not even fighting right now. And do you really think his first fight in 10 or so months would be against Golovkin? Highly doubt it

I agree, I think he crushes Cotto but this is what it has came down to since he beat Martinez. This is exactly why I was rooting for Martinez to beat Cotto lol
