Thats what you flo mos told me, cws=terrorism. At least i find comfort in Pac winning belts in 6 divisions with no cws, far better than lineal CW posse of Floyd and Cotto. And of course none of Pacs lineal titles were at a CW, cause those are the worstComment

The criticism of Cortez was that he let Floyd hold, and then continually separated the fighters, sometimes he even jumped in without a clinch so eager was he to make sure Floyd was comfortable.
The Hatton "hold and wrestle" line was never anything more than Floyd's pre-fight propaganda to pressure the officials and get his own way. He's doing the same with Maidana right now and the same idiots are parroting his nonsense.Comment

Let's be honest here: the best fight for Golovkin out there is against Ward. That would be a very interesting fight and likely very ugly (as almost all Ward fights are). I'd favor Ward in it. That being said, there is zero money in that fight. Zero. The big money fights for Golovkin are against guys like Cotto, Mayweather, Sturm (in Germany), Canelo, JCCJr or Froch in London. None of those guys want to fight Golovkin though. Hard to blame them. All of those guys get paid no matter who they fight. A very high risk fight against Golovkin (and with his power, everyone of those guys is in danger of getting starched by him) just isn't worth it to them. So, Golovkin not fighting Ward at 168, to me, is exactly the same as Mayweather or Canelo not fighting Golovkin at 154. Why make a super high risk fight when the money isn't right? If you are Golovkin, why press to make a fight against the biggest challenge to him and make nothing, when he can make a helluva lot more fighting people that are not as dangerous. And yes, Ward is way more dangerous to Golovkin at 168 than Mayweather is at 154.Comment
