It's going to say a lot about Quillin seeing his head get snapped back. Can he overcome adversity? He didn't show it against Rosado.

I've never seen Korobov have a great performance as a pro.

His amateur career hasn't translated well as a pro.
He did look very good against Duran and Edwards who both went on to have good results in their next fights getting a draw with Traux and knocking out Badou Jack.

A big reason the Uzcategui fight wasn't too thrilling was because of how tall and long he was Uzi wanted no part of infighting and would clinch anytime Korobov got inside which is where he does his best work and really lets his hands go. Quillin on the other hand doesn't clinch and if Rosado can rough him up inside Matvey should pose a real problem for him when there.

He's the only guy to ever knock out the iron chinned Ghanian Warrior Ossie Duran who has shared the ring with Kirkland, Khurtsidze, Lopez. Nunez was his first fight back after a year long layoff he may have wanted the rounds i remember in the Brewer fight it clearly looked like he went rounds on purpose having hurt him occasionally and not gone after him too hard.

Quillin is just as big and he has struggled to make weight in the past. He was overweight last year against Guerrero and has struggled to make 160 since. Probably why he only fights twice a year
People forget but prior to the Mcewen fight Quillin was rated in the top 15 at 160 and 168 and needed to choose which division he was going to campaign at for a title shot. Initially he released a statement saying he was going to stay at 168 but changed his mind quickly. His win over Brinkley was for the USBO 168 belt.

If slow and no power Rosado could stalk down Quillin and give him trouble, Korobov has more than a good chance at stopping Quillin. He's also the more powerful of the two and would wager that he can also take a better punch than Quillin. Quillin's toughest fight in his career by a mile.

I tought Korobov was too bulky in his last fight, looked slow and winded.

He didn't show bad stamina in any other of his fights. I hope he and his team sort that problem out.

This fight is 50/50 for me. Both hard hitters with flaws.

Yea, I guess you're right. I just hold Nunez as a guy that anybody can knock out no matter what...

I still think he should work on his stamina though because he was gasping for air in the Uzcatequi fight

Korobov still has to watch out for Quillin's power. He almost got KO'd by Edwardsin the first round of their last fight....but then again, that was the same kind of punch that did in Badou Jack in their fight
