He needs to get his defense in line or retire. Rios was always talking like that, sounds more like a speech impediment wich you can hear at 37seconds here


But he has been taking damage, thats what makes it hard to gauge simply by speech. But in his performance you can tell he might be slowing down, but i could be wrong since the style matchups have been horrible.

I joke around about Rios being a punching bag, but i still have concern for the kid. Not a Rios fan, but i like to watch his fights. Just wish he would put more effort to his defense, the offense is already there.

Garcia, his trainer, should tell Rios that the ONLY way he'll train him and move forward with his next fight is if he Fully commits to improving his defense, where he's defensively responsible for all 12 rounds, not just two. He can't compete at a decent level whit just a chin, thats a recipe for disaster.
