It's a shame that a great fight is gonna have a distraction such as this. instead of talking about the match-up itself and the fact that it got signed, we're gonna have a bunch of arm-chair drug experts give their opinions on PED's and whether Bernard is juicing or not.
Personally I could care less. What we do know is that he has to be willing to train all year round to stay in the kind of shape he is in, which doesn't really require a drug. And what we also know is that his strengths aren't his speed, punching power or super stamina (three perquisites) that allows him to throw a thousand punches. Nor does he sport a ripped body these days. So if he does win, it's gonna be his boxing skills and his spoiling techniques that slow down the fight and control the pace.
Not by pounding Kovalev with a 100 punches per round with super speed, and increased punching power.
