He is so old that he was 18 when Kovalev was born and had already been in prison for 1 year

He is old and you do worry about health but he is still fighting at high level and you will not hear excuses from me

People jump for joy when Hopkins wins but then are gonna be like oh, no big deal, he's an old man if he loses. I don't wanna hear that ****. If Kovalev beats him, give him credit!

What are you talking about? He is too old to be fighting. If he loses the fact that he is almost 50 is going to be the reason why many people believed he lost in the first place. If Hopkins was 5 years younger then I bet you he would easily be the favorite in this fight but that is not the case here. We are going to see if he can still pull it off even at his current age.

But being old is a genuine excuse? Hence why what Hopkins is doing is so phenomenal

He will get credit but most importantly Kovalev will get the IBF and WBA belts and keep his WBO. That's what's important here.

Doesn't change the fact Hopkins IS old as hell. 2 months shy of 50 when they fight.

Right. Get ready though because that will be the main excuse... "Age was going to catch up with him at one point or another".

At this point, I could care less about the excuses or the circumstances... I just want to see Hopkins get beat up brutally. That's the only thing I care about and will enjoy lol.

It is amazing when he wins..he is defying the odds...if he loses it is no big deal he is 49...his opponents are the ones who have everything to lose...the man is far beyond his prime...he is so old when he was born televisions looked like this

WTF are people insane? He is 49 years old, he is so old that he could be the father of the fighters he is fighting.

And yes if he loses is because of age, Kovalev is not good enough to beat a near to good Hopkins. Pavlik, Shumenov,Cloud, Kovalev all have the same/similar style and that style Hopkins beats it with is!

As long as people don't get butt hurt and give Drago credit for killing Apollo, I'm good bro!

When he loses, don't say it's only bcuz he's old or whatever. Tip your cap to Kovalev and keep it moving.
