I'm well aware of that, still: RJJ wasn't at his peak when he fought Bhop in 1993. And he certainly wasn't at his peak when he fought Bhop in 2010.

You said he was, I just clarified that he wasn't. And you seem to agree.

Im intrigued with this one. I want to see if JC is the only white fighter who can beat BH, or is there someone else now as well.?

Kovalev is known to be pretty good, so he should have a good chance. People arent suprised if BH wins now, but people used to always bet against BH, but now are a bit more reluctant to totally write BH off.
You do it at your peril

He puts the rest of modern boxing to shame.

Do you think ANY other fighter today will be fighting at top level, unifying titles and facing the most dangerous opposition at the age of 50?

I would have a drink with B Hop this guy is a legend the fact that he holds a title is a testament to his greatness....but 50 is really pushing it in this day and age......there are laws about beating up old people and i dont want is legend to be tarnished by a severe beating at the hands of kovalev.

He fought a peak Roy Jones not the expired powder Calzaghe fought (and he didnt make weight either), Trinidad, Winky Wright, Johnson and his then record defences against live opponents. The guy is high up there an will be appreciated when he retires just like everyone else.
Roy was certainly not peak and U could easil argue that Tito and Winky were way too naturally small. Glen was a glorified journeyman

                    true indeed!!!

dudes are showering him with mad love for taking this fight, but he's ALWAYS taken these type of fights tbh....it's just the ante is raised a bit due to his age....this would be a walk in the park for a 40 yr old BHop....but due to him being damn near 50 and taking on a dangerous, murderous, high risk boogeyman....it's something you have to salute

BHop's age makes the fight VERY interesting....that's the intrigue....can Frankenstein catch the old man turning grey?!?...that's the question.....EVERYBODY knows BHop can outbox Frankenstein but will Father Time show up demanding respect from it's nemesis?!?....IMO, that's the fight....all that other ish is elementary....Frankenstein can't **** with BHop without help from the birth certificate!!
