Probably. I mean, they tried to make a Bute/Pascal rematch....a freaking rematch of that fight....

How there is a full army of fans who support any and everything Al Haymon is beyond me.

I mean.... Stuff like this is icing on the cake. But when it actually comes down to what happens in the ring, he's even more garbage. Haymon fighters fight Rod Salka. Haymon fighters get paid $1millipn to fight Fonfara. Haymon fighters don't fight ANY non-Haymon fighter who actually knows how to fight

Haymon/Schafer are and were cancers to the sport. I'm so happy it's coming out more and more. These scumbags would try to turn boxing into WWE if they could.

Fortunately, there's enough Hopkins and Duvas to expose them

Not true Hopkins the one that priced himself out. He wanted 50-50 when Jones was the number 1 P4P fighter and the unified champion at 175 at the time. If they are fighting for Jones titles then want a catch weight then it should be 60-40. Like other posters said Jones already beat the man.

I just remember an article where I believe it was Kovalev's promoter saying he fought Cleverly because it was a quicker title shot rather then wait for a fight with Hopkins that wasn't even guaranteed because of all the bad blood. I'm not sure if Kovalev had an HBO deal at this point.
To be fair, Hopkins did tell Kovalev to cleverly and back tracked a little. And showtime this reject Kovalev. There's even a pathetic tweet by Espinoza where he justifies it with BS reasons

But none of that matters anymore. WARR HOPKINS!!!!!

Can you quote them for me? My comp is running too slow right now.

I thought they woud praise B-Hop for making a smart business move

Oh aight, I know what you're talking about.
Kind of don't expect any because they argued for stevenson making a good business decision...which he did because he got Showtime to pay for that fight and will probably get even more fights like that paid for.

After reading this, I don't see how they can argue against a smart business decision.... some will, but come on

I also think there was a bit more to the story. Hopkins and Oscar knew Al and possibly Espinoza were not playing friends with them. They know Al is going to be switching to Floyd since Floyd has his license in Nevada.

Hopkins looks out for himself above anyone else as it should be.
