I don't think it's a GBP issue. I think it was and is always a Haymon issue.

Regardless, this is definitely the first major break-thru in the "cold war."

Certainly from here on out, this means that Golden Boy fighters are welcome on HBO

Be interesting to see what this means for Peter Quillin and Golovkin.

It's like Rocky 4 all over again. The aging legend taking on the Russian killer to end the Cold War.

Brings a tear to my eye.

I've never seen any of the Rocky movies besides the one with Antonio Tarver.

I never understand the Drago references

Quillin is Haymon. Haymon's beef with HBO is still going strong.

Kovalev is the real life LHW Drago. All you need to know.

Haymon lost out on both ends but he'll still make some money off of Stevenson/Pascal. Stevenson's image has been tarnished considerably though.
Tarnished considerably?...**** that, SuperPvssy Stevenson is a straight up.B!TCH...he used to pimp them, now HE'S ONE OF THEM!...."Ay wontu ge' peid! Ay wontu ge' peid!' Excuse for running from Kovalev to Showtime only to look like DogCaca in his network debut...well let's see your sugardaddy Haymon pay your sorry @ss now while you sit on the sidelines....
