Both fighters were doing dirty **** and it did not merit a DQ in my opinion. They had only what one or two rounds left? All this talk of FOTY and it wound up being a **** fight.

Chaves was cryin like a NBA player with his acting but both fighters were being "dirty" just a rough fight IMO at the end it looked like Chavez was raking Rio's face in the headlock but rios should have just beat his ass if he didn't like it instead of cryin

Both fighters had a chance to make a classic fight but instead decided to stink it up. Rios did not look like he came to fight and Chavez was willing to do anything to win. Real let down from both

S.hi.tty way to end the fight It was a dirty fight don't know about all the point deductions.

I had Rios up and seemed like he was starting to pull away in the 7th & 8th rd. Chaves knew he was Walking on thin ice with the ref and still pulled some bs almost looking to get out of the fight. Probably won't see him fight in the US again.

I dont know why people are complaining about rios head? he has always fought like that even in the amateurs. chaves wanted to slug it out early but once he realized rios has an iron chin. chaves started to hold and would also use elbows. The way chaves fought from the 3rd to 8th rounds you could tell he wanted no more trades with rios.

Hitting after the ref called break. Headbutting. Holding and hitting.

And I am a hardcore Rios fan. Chaves was even worse, but both guys were fighting sloppy, dirty, and should be ashamed. Rios and Chaves both were complaining to the ref on each other like children.

The fans did not pay their hard earned money to see that kind of bullshit. They should have both been DQ'd.
