Are we forgetting that Trout is an Al Haymon fighter?

    It's not happening.

I wouldn't mind seeing Lara vs Cotto.

Was wondering when someone would mention this.

Haymon costing another fighter a big money fight in 2014.

I don't see why Haymon would object to Trout fighting Cotto. If they make the fight at 155, Trout could challenge for the belt. I don't see why Haymon wouldn't push for an opportunity like that. Trout is useless right now.

Not Haymon. Arum. Why would he do it?

You do realize that Cotto is working with TR, not for TR.

LOL stop this ridiculous nonsense about robberies already! No one was robbed against Canelo. Nor Trout neither Lara. Both were tight fights no way that they were robberies and the majority of the boxing fans actually think that Canelo won both fight so stop tell this robbery bull**** over and over again and get over that Canelo won both fight by narrow decision though I guess you really wanted to see him lose and get schooled like against Mayweather.

Why did Cotto turn down 10 million to fight Canelo and fight Sergio under Top Rank instead? He's a loyal man.

Cotto knows the plan. He's not risking it all to go fight Austin Trout again.

He wanted to do something no other Rican had done, nothing to do with loyalty, Cotto is only loyal to money at this stage of his career.
