If Cotto beats GGG, how would you rank him with the Great PR boxers?

Who on the platter is a more relevant win for Cotto? Canelo? The guy who was embarrassed 12-0 by Floyd? Pac? Perhaps, but he's all but washed up and out of his preferred weight. Cotto doesn't need to fight GGG for HoF credentials, it's set in stone, but if goes in and fights GGG, let alone win? It'll be by far the most legit win of any of the best fighters of this generation
11 defenses against who? chill out l!egacy as in ATG wise GGG doesnt do much for Cotto.

Tito destroying Vargas >>>> Cotto beating GGG

GGG doesnt do much for Cotto really.
      Fixed it for you.

Beating a shot Sergio doesn't even come close to a win over the best middleweight in the world right now. Cotto fans are hilarious.

Tito was favored in that fight. They were both prime, even if Vargas was still a little green. Tito had so many favorables in that fight.

Against GGG, Cotto will again be an underdog. He holds no advantages over GGG except big fight experience.

Nobody in boxing right now will boost Cotto legacy other than Floyd. Who can Cotto fight, other than Floyd that would be a greater win?

GGG had over 400 fights as an amateur, and it shows on fight night. it takes skill to do what he does. you see how he cuts the ring off, corralling opponents on the ropes to lay leather? yes his defense is not truly elite, but that's only weakness in his game..that he can be hit...but he has a good chin so theres that.
Watched boxing since about 15 am now 38. Don't twist my words. I did say he was garbage. T
His strength is his strength. 400 amateur fights doesn't impress me. Rigondeux had essentially same number of fights and he is light years in terms of boxing overall talent. I think anyone weather u seen one fight or hundreds will quickly see that between the two. But that's not to say ggg is bad. He is very good. Jur not rigo good. To give cotto zero chance against ggg is to put it politely asinine.

Thats how I see it. GGG brings nothing, Cotto is already the lineal champ and the money man, what does GGG have to offer??

I totally agree. Legacy wise he does nothing. Hasn't stopped everyone crying about Cotto ducking him however.

GGG reminds me of Mathysse. Marhysse the fighter Danny Garcia would never fight and was ducking, remember?
