I think the statement about you used to respect Marquez is completely false. You're trying to sound like you have a legit argument, and you don't. You say PAC gave him all the rematches he wanted. No he didn't first it took years of begging and fan demands for a rematch. Then they fought and one knock down determined the outcome. That's how close it was. Marquez wanted another rematch. Roach and PAC were both like " it's senseless to fight again and for what? We already won. We don't need another fight." A couple more years go by while fans demand more. PAC gives in, he doesn't extend open arms to a rematch. He doesn't just say oh you want a rematch ok here goes. 3rd fight is forced while PAC and roach still cry, " oh Marquez keeps crying about rematch. Why another fight. It's beating a dead horse." They fight and Marquez is robbed. PAC knows it and wants to redeem himself to show that he really won. Marquez is like , " Nah, I think I'm retiring. This was some bull****. I really won and got robbed. Why fight again, all the people saw what happened. " so they fight the 4th fight. He has a strength training coach that was accused in the past. Now the PAC fans claim he got roided out after he knocked out their beloved Pacman. They do need an excuse for why their idol fell flat on his face. It was really because a superior boxer put the smash down. Now Marquez needs to extend a rematch to PAC ? Now it's Marquez's turn for " rematch? What for? That's like saying Ali made Frazier. They fought 4 times because 3 were controversial wins. Only 1 fight was a decisive win. Marquez would fight Manny right now for $20 million, but Arum and Roach consider that as pricing himself out the fight. Why should he get $10 million, and Manny $30 million, if JMM got 1 draw and 1 KO out of 4 fights?

When you think of Marquez's career divining win it's pacquiao. When you think of pac you could say morales Barrera cotto delahoya hatton etc. in terms of legacy marquez is not close. His career is based on his pacquiao fights. And his last victory was dubious to say the least.

I can't wait for JMM to retire. Not because I dislike him (I think he's underrated). But I can't wait because--I can't wait for ****** PAC fans to shut up about him. The roids, the "rematch" complaints ("but Manny GAVE Juan those rematches and he won't give manny one" waaah). manny didn't "give" him one. He made him wait 4 years, and had disputed victories. Universally people believed they should fight again to determine who won--they needed a definitive victory.

He has never been guilty of using ped's either.

I'm so tired of these lame allegations and excuses. It all stems from Manny definitively losing. Jmm proved he was the better fighter. And don't give me the "but he was about to Lose before Manny got caught with a lucky shot doe". Manny was annihilated. And the cards were about even. You don't get credit for "almost" knocking someone out.

I'll miss juan. But I'd sacrifice having him leaving just to shut up delusional and uneducated boxing fans

When you think of Champions, you think Cesar Chavez, Marquez ( who obliterated and almost handicapped Pacman) Salvador Sanchez, morales( who did beat PAC once), Barrera, and the list goes on. Oh and pacquiao. So while we have had many champions and will have many more, you people just have one and I don't see you having anymore. To say the least.
