Father Time already caught up with Hopkins. We all know Hopkins would have beat Kovalev 4 years ago. It isn't 4 years ago, and we don't know for sure if he has enough left.

I think Kovalev is more skilled and hits a hell of a lot harder than did Pavlik - but more importantly for his fight with Hopkins he is much tougher mentally than Pavlik. He won't fall apart.

On the flip side: Pavlik had fought better competition than has Kovalev (mainly Jermain Taylor) and had gone the distance.

All in all I think that Kovalev is much more dangerous than Pavlik and Hopkins will be 6 years older when they fight. 6 years!!!

On the flip side again the match-up is great for Hopkins as he is a defensive wizard with a great counter. For his sake I hope he doesn't take too much punishment.

After all that I have to give my opinion. I think that Kovalev should take this fight. Not that he is a better All-Time skilled fighter than Hopkins but because his combination of speed, skill, ferocity, mental toughness - combined with Hopkins age makes this a very dangerous fight for Hopkins.

I'll be a beer on Kovalev but no more. We might witness greatness this November if Hopkins manages to slip and counter Kovalev for 12 rounds.

You maybe right, but if Hoipkins have anything left, he'll handle Kovalev a schooling. This is the style Hopkins really beats easy, and I don't see Kovalev as been as good as advertise, he is a decent skilled big puncher!
