*Just to let you know I dont get mad its a sports topic and I get really into it. Im even worse (lol) when it comes to my chicago bears. DA BEARS!!!
Dude you should see my rant about that one. I feel absolutely horrible for the guys at 154 who have seen the belts just shift from one guy to the other basically at the highest purse bid price. It's nauseating, I watch stuff from the golden gloves up and I feel bad for these up and comers and the world of shhh they are getting ready to walk into. I can't tell you the amount of fighters i've seen squander their youth trying to ride the politics of boxing only to get a shot after the thing that made them great is gone. Sitting on the sidelines is massively demoralizing to fighters.

See but that's the thing, you've got people all over this site saying "Well he won't fight Ward" when he actually will. Because boxing scene takes one interview splits it up into 5 different articles and only posts what they know will incense one group against another to clickbait people. It's why i wish grantland would go full time into boxing. Ward deserves a ton of money but the fact remains his star just ain't that bright, for all his talents he hasn't broken through. It's all good to be the #2 p4p fighter but the ratings don't match it and that's his handlers fault. There is no reason on earth Ward shouldn't be making twice as much as chavez but he's making like 1/4th of what chavez does and still a premium cable fighter. You can't ask to make $2 million and pay the other champion a few hundred grand. Edwin Rodgriguez only got that million because of espinoza being buddies with his man haymon.

yup. But the only thing I can guess is ward is trying to keep himself away from politics, even though that might not help his career. But to note i dont take those p4p rankings to heart cuz of the old saying styles makes fights lol

I don't trust too much in what Ward says...

Ward (Sep 22, 2012): "So at the moment I don’t realistically think that fight [against Sergio Martinez] is going to be made. I think I would be very strong at the weight [175]. I’m not even the biggest super middleweight, so I know the fighters at light heavyweight would be even bigger. But I know the ideal situation is to go to 175 and not come back down. There’s not a lot of options at 168."

There actually isn't released video of them sparring, just pictures. I remember seeing what I thought was them sparring, but that's not even GGG (if it's the video I'm thinking of). So whatever video you're referring to doesn't exist, unless you got a link to show me that I've somehow missed.

Well what do the Cotto Ricans think now....?

That their god like war lord is scaring the bejeezus out of GGG? Listen, GGG would take that little guys head clean off. Now read this COTTO IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME GREATS. HE WAS AWESOME. but HE IS NO MORE. He beat a paraplegic in Martinez. Any top 5 MW beats the tatts off him. GGG kills him.

Ward is a ****** mouthpiece. Won't fight out of the Hood. Ward is not the man. It is GGG.
